I have been learning to understand 1s, 10s, 100s, in numbers up to 1000. On the right side is what I have been practicing on and the one on the left is the me learning how to add using p.v (place value).

The one on the left is teaching me how to write numbers in thousands 1 more and 1 less. It wasn't that hard.

The ones on the right teach me how to write and order fractions from smallest to biggest.

On the left it shows you how to use place value. So Place value is just like expanding and compacting. So if you had 204 there would be 2 100s 0 10s and 4 ones, after that add another hundred or thousand numer and expand that number and add all the numbers including the 204 and see what answer you get.

E.g  2049=2000+000+40+9   +   3046=3000+000+40+6
