Tupou-singular (1 person)

WALT: Understand and use correct tupou in our sentences and korero.

What I found easy: What I found easy was to find the image to suit the tupou.

WhatI found hard: What I found hard was to find the correct tupou for the image.

Have you ever heard of instagrammar? Because I haven't. But I think that might just be a app. Well, check out this awesome story down below.

Should We Have Sports Equipment In The Playground?

By:Heaven Ngakuru.
Teacher:Matua Hemara

Argument:

  1. Because it can prevent people from being bored .
  2. It can keep people occupied .
  3. It can keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball .
  4. It can train you for sports .
  5. It can keep you strong and healthy .

My first reason why I think we should have sport equipment in the playground is because it can prevent people from being bored. Would you rather walk around doing nothing or play with some sport equipment. Because I would rather play with the sport equipment. It’s better to play around than walk around doing nothing but talk.

My second reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can keep people occupied (entertained). Imagine if you were sitting on a deck and people were playing basketball, and long ball, and netball and you just wanted to do something fun and then you just get a brain wave. You could just play with them and be more occupied.

My Third reason why we should have sport equipment in the playground is because It can keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball. Did you know that if you play around with sport equipment It increases your energy level. It helps your body (change to make better/change to fit new conditions) to even (something commonly done) activities that can cause a bleed and other difficulties, especially in joints and muscles weakened by lack of movement.

My fourth reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can train you for sports. For example what if you were training yourself to play touch and in a few weeks or so you became into a expert and then did you hear that there was a touch tournament was coming up and you were up for the challenge. It was worth the training.

My Last reason reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can keep you strong and healthy. So imagine if you weren’t into sport and everyone else was so into sport and they were all strong and healthy. But then one day you  had an idea to play with some sport gears. And you were thinking it was going to be hard, but really it wasn’t it was quite easy. You kept on playing and your challenges were getting harder but you accomplished them all though.

All this evidence points to the fact that I suggest that we should have sport equipment in the playground to prevent people from being bored, to keep people occupied, to keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball, To train you for sports and because it can keep you strong and healthy.

What I found challenging: was to find what kind of arguments I should do.

What I easy: Was to know how to explain about the argument

What I'll focus on next time is to add more complex words to increase in my vocabulary.

Do you obey rules? well, maybe sometimes I do, but if they are asy then I might just do them. Check out these rules they're quite simple so I reccomend these rules 8 and up sport players.

                   Ki - O - Rahi Rules

We are learning to write down as much for ki o rahi rules we could ever think of.

The ‘Kioma’ team of 10 players occupy 3 areas: a maximum of 3 players can occupy the Motu zone (2 defending the tupu or centre target and 1 up on the Te Kahaaraiti line) and the rest of the team are positioned in the outer area ‘Te Ao’

Pawero’s job is to score tries in Tupu Manawa by  touching an outer ‘pou’ while holding the ball and then, the player with the ball in there hand, runs through the ‘Te Roto’ zone and into the ‘Motu’ zone to score a try.

Only 1 Kioma player, the one holding the ball, can enter the ‘Te Roto’ zone to attempt to score a try. If riped in the Te Roto zone that player must immediately hand ball possession over to the Taniwha team.

The ball can be inter-passed by Kioma and Pawero Kaitiaki players.

Kioma players can swap positions in the Motu zone and Te Ao zone by entering the ‘Te Ara’ (pathway). They cannot run with the ball in Te Ara.

Only one player from the Kioma team can occupy the Te Marama circle at any one time.

Every time a try is scored the game is restarted by a Kioma player with a kick or a pass in from the Te Marama circle.

Up to three Kioma players can use the Motu zone at any one time (2 defending the Tupu 1 up on the Kahaaraiti line). Players in this zone are called Kaitiaki.

9.  Once a “hit” or tupu wairua has been scored the ball it is play on. If       the ball rebounds off the centre

10. Every time a try is scored the game is restarted by a Kioma player with a kick-in from the Te Marama

11.No running outside of te Ao

12.No running with one tag

13.No running in the Roto with the ball

14.You can’t run in Pawero

15.You can’t shoot the tupu in te ao.

16.You can’t start if te marama don’t throw the ball in.

17.If you get one tag ripped off then you pass it to your teammate.

18.If you get two tags ripped it’s straight handover.

19.No throwing the ball at each other

20.No pushing each other

What is the meaning of organic garden?

Many gardeners wonder what exactly organic gardening means. The simple answer is that organic gardeners don't use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides on their plants.

WALT: Use GAFE when commenting on other school blogs. This acronym is very helpful in many ways. If you want some examples read down below

W.A.L.T: use G.A.F.E to assist me to comment safely and positively on blog posts.

Do you know that if you use gafe it might just lighten someone's day for them? Well I do appreciate comments from others but they sometimes don’t give me feedforward and feedback. But I am still grateful for the nice comments people write on my post.

Here is a photo of someone writing a lovely comment on my Maths goals. I really enjoyed reading this comment because it is so nice to say something like that to me.

If you don’t know what gafe mean
Well GAFE means...

In the comment up above doesn’t assist people with feedforward or feedBack. However it does show that she has appraised me and ended her comment pretty well. Also she added an exclamation mark instead of adding a full stop after she said Hello Heaven. If I were to rate this comment it would be a 8 out of 10 for me.

Here are some examples of, Greet:
