Pop - Quiz

This is a presentation made by Sheeandra, Tehanah, Heaven, and Kaya Te Awa

This has been our first pop quiz. A pop quiz is a time limited quiz. We got 45
minutes to complete this slide containing 4 questions. Each group had 4 people.

What I found interesting was: That I had a limited amount of time to research and
being able collaborate with others.

What I found challenging was: Researching enough information for the slide, because
knowing that I am timed was really pressuring me.

Have you been to Rotoru?

You can obviously tell that I chose different languages. So I hope
you enjoy/ed my presentation.

Have you ever cereal? If you take a close look behind the box you most probably might see a QR code.

W.A.L.T:
Create a QR code.

Today whaea Tania came into room 2 to teach us about how to create a QR code.
We had to create a QR code to take us to our class site and to our own individual
blogs.

It was very fun creating these QR codes because I like the way how you can scan
the code on a camera and then takes you to the chosen website. Have a try at creating
a QR code, Click this link

Do You Know What Deforestation Is?

WALT: Use the correct structure for an explanation.
Choose an environmental issue to write about and explain. Search for information and facts first. Remember to explain the problem and the solutions.

Up above I have created a google presentation that talks and explains about the crisis of deforestation and ways that we could prevent this catastrophe from continuing

Have you ever been on an airplane?

W.A.L.T:Create a presentation and showcase three Airline safety rules.

Whaea Tania came into room 2 and showed us a Kiwi Airline safety video. Once we reached the end of the video, Whaea Tania assigned room 2 to create a presentation, google draw, poster, or even a song, but it had to include three Airline safety rules that were showcased on the Video. This was very fun to create because we got to have fun and be creative as much as wanted. It was challenging at first to get the lyrics, but overall, I still had fun. Be sure to watch the Kiwi Airline Video. Anyways this is our attempt of creating a rap about Airline SafetyWALT: Share a post with your top three safety tips for flying.

My Fantastic Maths😁

As you can see I have created a poster about my maths/strand
I have been learning this week.
It has been a little challenging but it has also been fun to do. also, I put different formulas
on my poster to show you how to figure out how to measure
different shapes and sizes.

Do you speak Te Reo Maori?

W.A.L.T: use describing words i roto i Te Reo Maori
At the end of this lesson I will be able to use describing words to
describe the features of something.

Code.org - intermediate level

W.A.L.T
Complete our coding set tasks

Sc:
Use the minimum amount of blocks to complete the set tasks

What I found challenging was, trying to figure out the accurate way to code the character
What I can improve on next time is to be more independent and self managed

This is what I have been learning about this week for Panui

I am learning how to speak in Te Reo Maori through a simple card game of recognition
and being able to identify words and pictures.

By the end I must post to blog and give my own opinion about these games

Have you ever used a reading site to help you improve in your reading?

W.A.L.T:
Read our books and complete our set activities
Up above I have created a poster about my chosen book for the week.
I should be able to read at least 1 to 2 stories a week by using sunshine classics

My spelling for the week

This is my spelling for the week, and I am practicing these words
to improve my spelling

code.org

What my poster shows up above is my completed my levels and I have earned my certificate.

For the passed few weeks Whaea Tania is teaching room 4 more and more about coding. While I was playing
around with this website, I then cam to realize that we had to use a limited amount of blocks to achieve or pass the
chosen level. I found this quite challenging, but I like challenges.

 What I have learnt
through the activity of coding, nearly all websites, apps, and even companies a ran by the power of coding.
For example, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, youtube, etc. By learning how to code on code.org
this could lead to many opportunities in the future, such as engineering, creating websites, produce robots, and
so much more.
