I have been learning to create and apron in a term to keep our clothes from being dirty.

W.A.L.T:Make an apron to protect our clothes when cooking.

This apron took me 5 to 6 weeks to finish. What I like about my apron is my flower pattern on my chest. Also I like my little pocket.

I have a deep hope that I might just achieve my goals.

This is my maths goals

What I found hard: Was to think of the kind of goals I want to learn.

Kia ora koutou. I am reading a book called Kei Waenganui I nga Rimrimu.

I am learning to know locations of by heart in Te Reo Maori.

What I found easy was: To be able to record it with expression.

Maths is awesome. Maths is great.

This is a pie graph. It is a circular graph that can also record something or people. This pie graph can be used for statistic maths. For example, the pie chart shown on the left. It represents the percentage of people who own pets. As you can see, the dog ownership' slice is by far the largest, which means that most people represented in this chart own a dog as opposed to a cat, fish, or other animal.

"32" is split into "3" (stem) and "2" (leaf).

This is a Stem and Leaf Graph is a special table where each data value is split into a "stem" (the first digit or digits) and a "leaf" (usually the last digit). Like in the example above. It records something or people. It is to record your data and more. 

A pictograph is a chart that uses pictures to represent data. Pictographs are set out in the same way as bar charts, but instead of bars they use columns of pictures to show the numbers involved.

This is a time series graph. It is similar to a dot plot graph but you just ad that one dot to your number as displayed above. After you done all of your answers you connect the dots and make a line, as displayed above.

What do you call a angle when it is wrecked? A rectangle. Get it "rect" angle

This is a tally chart. It records something or someone. On my tally you can probably see that I recorded how many boys and girls there are in room 4. The lines mean 1 point. When you get to 5 you cross across the middle.

This is called a bar graph. It records stuff for you. It very similar but you are making a row instead of writing numbers. So all you basically do is have a line on the side and write 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50. You then do a line at the bottom and write something of someones name or something. Then you do the row up to the number of amount there was. This is the amount of basic facts I got right.

This is a dot plot graph. It Is very, very similar to a bar graph but instead of using rows you use dots.

Is your school a good school or one of those schools that are kind of bad. Well if you want it to be better and to be improving through their learning I recommend that you should have a school prefect.

Should we have school prefects in Tautoro School.

Argument:

• Because they can help us in our learning
• They can keep us safe in the playground
• Because they can teach us new stuff
• They can help the teina to be just like them
• Because they can teach us new things in our learning

Is your school a good school or one of those schools that are kind of bad. Well if you want it to be better and to be improving through their learning I recommend that you should have a school prefect. If you don't know what a prefect is a person who is a leader in your school and they can help you to become just like them in the future. So for example you can keep the teina safe.

My first reason why I think we should have a prefect in the school and class is because they can help us in our learning. So imagine if you were just starting to use a chromebook and you tried to go on the class site, BUT you accidently clicked the wrong button and you went in the wrong place what would you do go ask the teacher who is probably already working with someone or are you going to ask a prefect that would be free, I would strongly recommend that you should pick the prefect. You never know what can happen when you’re trying to do work.

My second reason why I recommend why we should have prefects in the school is because they can keep us safe in the playground . So what if there was a child that was about to climb the monkey bars and they were trying to grab the third bar but couldn’t reach it. What I would have done earlier is to go over there and ask the poor child if they want help and show them a strategy to climb the monkey bars . So what would you rather recommend to be a person that watches them fall and cry or be that person who goes over there and helps the poor child. I would recommend to help the person instead of watching them fall. I would be absolutely dreadful just to watch them try to reach the pole of the handle bar.

My third reason why I think that we should have school prefects in the school is because they can teach us new stuff in our learning environment

What I found hard was: To find my arguments to suit my persuasive writing because I recommend school prefects in our school.

What I found easy was: How to write about the argument.

What I'll focus on next time is: to add more examples of my argument.

 

E hara I te mea

I have been learning to write down the WHOLE verse of the Te Reo traditional song E Hara.

What I found hard was: How to research this song because when I search for the song it comes up with English songs.

What I found easy was: How to find the full version of the song in lyric form.



What I'll focus on next time:

Tupou-(two people)

I have been learning to use the right tupou for two people.

What I found easy was: To find the right kupu for the amout of people or objects

What I will focus on next time is: to put more examples to show the kupu more easier

Tupou-singular (1 person)

WALT: Understand and use correct tupou in our sentences and korero.

What I found easy: What I found easy was to find the image to suit the tupou.

WhatI found hard: What I found hard was to find the correct tupou for the image.

Should We Have Sports Equipment In The Playground?

Argument:

1. Because it can prevent people from being bored .
2. It can keep people occupied .
3. It can keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball .
4. It can train you for sports .
5. It can keep you strong and healthy .

My first reason why I think we should have sport equipment in the playground is because it can prevent people from being bored. Would you rather walk around doing nothing or play with some sport equipment. Because I would rather play with the sport equipment. It’s better to play around than walk around doing nothing but talk.

My second reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can keep people occupied (entertained). Imagine if you were sitting on a deck and people were playing basketball, and long ball, and netball and you just wanted to do something fun and then you just get a brain wave. You could just play with them and be more occupied.

My Third reason why we should have sport equipment in the playground is because It can keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball. Did you know that if you play around with sport equipment It increases your energy level. It helps your body (change to make better/change to fit new conditions) to even (something commonly done) activities that can cause a bleed and other difficulties, especially in joints and muscles weakened by lack of movement.

My fourth reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can train you for sports. For example what if you were training yourself to play touch and in a few weeks or so you became into a expert and then did you hear that there was a touch tournament was coming up and you were up for the challenge. It was worth the training.

My Last reason reason why we should have sport equipment is because it can keep you strong and healthy. So imagine if you weren’t into sport and everyone else was so into sport and they were all strong and healthy. But then one day you  had an idea to play with some sport gears. And you were thinking it was going to be hard, but really it wasn’t it was quite easy. You kept on playing and your challenges were getting harder but you accomplished them all though.

All this evidence points to the fact that I suggest that we should have sport equipment in the playground to prevent people from being bored, to keep people occupied, to keep us fit by bouncing and running around with the ball, To train you for sports and because it can keep you strong and healthy.

What I found challenging: was to find what kind of arguments I should do.

What I easy: Was to know how to explain about the argument

What I'll focus on next time is to add more complex words to increase in my vocabulary.
