The Planet Saver!!

W4/D5/A1

Have you ever thought about the fact that our planet is slowly dying? Well, I have some ways that we can help save our environment/planet. Today I have been assigned to list three ways to help save our environment.

I have created a google presentation to present my work, so here it is:

What is another way we can help save our planet?

Anyways, that's all from me, blog ya later...

  1. Mōrena Heaven,

How has your friday morning been so far? It is looking a bit grey and dull today in Auckland, but I imagine it will be like yesterday, sunny in the afternoon once the clouds burn off. How is the weather in Tautoro?

Congratulations on completing another activity to such high standards, we really appreciate the effort you are putting into the posts. Wow you can recycle your scrap metal and get paid some ‘moola’, that is great! My favourite idea of yours is to use electric cars instead of gasoline or diesel, this would make a huge impact on decreasing air pollution! Did you know that electric cars are also cheaper to run? I hope that we will make this change soon.

Well done on doing such a great job, I believe you have a really great understanding of how to protect the environment.

    Blog you later!

  2. Hi Heaven,

Well done on another great activity! You have almost finished the entire programme, with only 2 activities to go. We would love to see you back online to finish the programme and complete the last 2 activities. You have done such a fabulous job this summer and I hope you are very proud of your efforts. The cut off time is 11:59 PM on Friday 25th Jan for blog posts.

Recycling and compost are both great ways to get rid of waste in a healthier way. I would love to have a compost bin at my flat this year so that I am throwing away less rubbish to go to the rubbish dump.

I think banning bullying is a very creative way of looking at how we can help save the planet. Although, it is not exactly connected to the natural environment, I totally support the idea and think it would be an excellent way of creating a better world for humans to live in, so well done!

Hoping to see you back online to finish your last two activities soon.
    Nga mihi, Georgia.

  3. Kia Orana Heaven,

Great post! I loved reading the amount of ways we could do to help save our planet, they are very great suggestions. Your post is really interesting and was done perfectly well, good on you. Recycling is something I would do to as it's mainly whats affecting our planet today. Each slide shows us the most easiest ways and is very incredible of you to show us this.

Overall I loved your presentation so much, I can't wait to see more awesome posts from you soon. Keep up the great work, Heaven.

When are we able to see your final post?

  4. Kia ora Heaven!

A big congratulations on participating with the Summer Learning Journey! You have shown incredible potential throughout this whole programme through amazing blog posts. From making google slides- that included photos and awesome facts- then making google drawings to really get your creative side out! We have really enjoyed these and want to thank you for showing us different ways to present our work.

My favourite post of your was ‘The sky in Shanghai’! You made an awesome video created through a app called ‘Renderforest’, I had to give it a tryafter looking at yours and boy it was tricky getting the hang of it! I even showed this to our whole team, they loved it too!

I really hope this year brings you happiness and opportunities! Thank you for showing us your passionate posts, they won’t be forgotten! Best wishes for you and your whanau.

    See you next summer!
